URGENT QUESTIONS

How do I become a Christian?

There are some popular misconceptions, such as a Christian is a person who has joined a church, adopted a creed, lives by good works alone or just believes in God. The problem is, churches and creeds can be false, and even the demons believe in God (James 2:19). But none of these address the sin problem.

Romans 10:13 – For whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. If you want to begin this path, ask Jesus by praying this simple prayer:

Dear Jesus, I know I’m a sinner and need to be saved. I am willing to turn from my sin, place my faith in you, and receive you as the Lord of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
If you prayed that prayer and meant it, you’re on the path of life everlasting. It is very important to see what’s going on after the rapture happens, as there are going to be many trials.

REALIZE:

You are a sinner and need to be saved. Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23

REALIZE:

Turn away from your sin. Acts 26:20

REALIZE:

God’s gift of life by placing your faith in Jesus and making Him Lord or your life. Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9

What happens after i die?

According to the Bible, heaven and hell do exist. The truth is each one of us will spend eternity somewhere. We must not ignore this reality or entertain other ideas of uncertainty.

Because sin lives in our lives it separates us from God. Since we all fall short of the perfectness of God we would all be sent to the condemnation of hell. In order to bridge the gap between us and God, Jesus stepped in and paid the price for us. This is why he came to earth in the flesh. Despite all other claims, it is true that Jesus is the only way to heaven. Religion in a sense becomes irrelevant as it comes down to the acceptance and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

If there is no existence beyond the grave, then millions of people throughout history would have to consider the works of Jesus of Nazareth a liar.

An Eternal Destination

Death cannot be avoided by exercise, diet, meditation, pills, surgery, the next genetic discovery, or anything else. Many are uncertain and fearful about their eternal destination. Some speculate that because they haven’t murdered anyone or robbed banks, they are already good enough for heaven. Their own hearts are deceiving them. According to the Bible, the human heart is the most deceitful thing there is (Jeremiah 17:9). The sin problem must be dealt with. Romans 3:23 says that the entire human race has sinned and fails to measure up to God’s standards. Everyone has turned away from God and done what they wanted to do (Isaiah 53:6). There isn’t anyone who hasn’t sinned (Ecclesiastes 7:20).

Eternal, Glorious Life

There really is life after death, an eternal, glorious life for those who love God (1 Corinthians 2:9). Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, took the punishment we deserved for our sins (Isaiah 53:5). He proved Himself victorious over death by rising from the grave three days later. Thousands of witnesses saw Him after His resurrection, over a period of 40 days. Then He ascended to heaven. According to Romans 4:25, Jesus was, “…delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.” [NKJV]
Jesus’ resurrection, a well-documented event, is the supreme proof of life after death. Just as Jesus’ body was raised from death, many live in the hope that their bodies will also be transformed when Jesus returns (1 Corinthians 6:14). However, everyone doesn’t automatically go to heaven. Each of us must make a choice that will determine our eternal destination. The Bible says that we die only once, and after that will come the judgment (Hebrews 9:27). There is an eternal destination in hell for those who reject Jesus as Savior. (Matthew 25:46).

Obeying the gospel

God doesn’t enjoy it when anyone dies in his sin, but wants them to turn around and start living for Him (Ezekiel 33:11). Life after death is eternal life in heaven with God, for believers. For unbelievers, life after death is eternity in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15). How can we receive eternal life after death and avoid an eternity in the lake of fire? Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3) [NKJV] We must obey the gospel, which states,
“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures….” (1 Corinthians 15:3) [NKJV]

Is this the end of the world?

Ordinary people, who say they believe in God, are confused about the future because they don’t know what the Bible actually says.

From the fear of “the bomb” in the early 1950s, to the global warming scare today that America is dying in a sea of pollution, “the end of the world” has concerned us since we were school children. Today, we continue to live in fear of nuclear annihilation, terrorism, epidemics, droughts, famine, tsunamis and earthquakes.

Many see a connection between today’s news and the ancient “end-time” prophecies recorded in scripture. Others have become skeptical because of the failed “end of the world” prophecies of self-styled prophets. Such skepticism has been driven by educators and theologians who question the accuracy and authority of scripture.

The 7 Year Tribulation

We’ve heard of a period of time known as “The Final 7 Years.” But does it really mean the final seven years to the end of the world? Let’s look at the prophecy.
“And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” Daniel 9:27

After the 7 Year Tribulation

When we get to the end of the tribulation, which is also the end of the 70th week, one of the greatest events will take place.
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:29-31
After the tribulation Jesus Christ is going to return to this earth. The Second Coming of Jesus Christ is the most awaited event of the church and it will truly be a glorious day.  However, this is still not the end of the world.
